The intensity in Apparat’s tracks seems to grow with his pleasure in experimenting far, far away from generic wasteland. The cut-up technique in his electronica compositions – subtle clicks and, what first sounds like, accidental “sound mistakes” evolved into perfect audio creations, almost like a live trial and error technique - is astonishing.
