Detroit Grand Pubahs

The Detroit Grand Pubahs was started in Detroit by Dr. Toefinger aka Andy Toth and Paris the Black Fu aka Mack Goudy, Jr. The band combine electro, hiphop, and booty-bass with a good dose of humor, all of which blend into a their own unique sound.
Their first release was “Sandwiches” - released in 2000 on Throw Records and was picked up by New York based Jive Electro. Their popularity spread, along with their notorious live shows. The Pubahs’ second album, Galactic Ass Creatures from Uranus, was released in 2004 on Poker Flat and at the same time, Toth left the band and was replaced by The Mysterious Mr O. They later started their own Detelefunk imprint.

The Pubahs returns with a video for their new single, a classic break up song with the usual tongue in cheek lyrics from Paris the Black FU. The video is drawn from the classic Tex Avery cartoons where the country wolf goes mad over the city women, wanting to kiss them. Their new album called Madd Circus is out now.
