Funkstörung
Funkstörung is Christian de Luca and Michael Fakesch, an IDM duo hailing from Rosenheim, Germany. They are known for their rhythmically complex but melody driven music, similar to the late 1990s work of Autechre, although their later work incorporates elements of hip hop as well as pop music. They also do a lot of remix work and two of the five Funkstörung albums are collection of remixes for other artists. Most of their work was released on !K7 Records.
One strong point of Funkstörungs’ releases has always been their visual identity, both in cover art and videos, often with the help of legendary The Designers Republic.
