Jori Hulkkonen
Jori Hulkkonen

In 1993 Finnish dj/producer Jori Hulkkonen formed his own imprint, Lumi, with two friends. After a bunch of successful releases, Hulkkonen began releasing on other European labels, initially Hybrid and Trainspotter’s Nightmare, both runned by Stockholm techno sensation Cari Lekebusch. A year later, he cemented his position as a leading European producer of Detroit-style house with his debut album for F Communications, Selkasaari Tracks.
Jori is also known as a very, very busy remixer, remodelling tracks for artists such as The Presets, Tiga, Goldfrapp, Chromeo, Robyn, M83, Cabaret Voltaire or José Gonzales. Jori currently releases a lot of his work on Turbo Recordings.
