Kokeshi
Kokeshi is an emerging London based label orbiting bass driven electronic music from approx 130 to 170 bpm. The imprint is run by Alley Cat who found the label it’s own sound through the popular Kokeshi podcasts. With releases that feature the emotive dreamy yet bass heavy slow dub sound, fans are emerging from dubstep and drum’n'bass, across the board to electro and goth/ industrial. In addition to the regular label work, branded Kokeshi Nights are being launched in Berlin and further afield, as well as a new regular night in London kicking off in April 2011.
