La Roux
La Roux is the London based synth pop project of singer/songwriter Elly Jackson and keyboardist/producer Ben Langmaid. Their debut single, “Quicksand,” was released by Kitsuné in fall 2008, and earned the band acclaim from the BBC and the Guardian in the UK. The band also received a lot of credibility on the clubscene after a huge amount of unofficial remixes appeared at the same time especially on the dubstep scene and the band literary blew up all over the blogosphere.

Video directed by The Holograms within the UFO/Mathematic collective, for the UK’s latest rising electropop act, La Roux and commissioned by London’s Polydor Records. The shoot took 16 hours and was later edited at Home Digital in Paris. The band has enjoyed unparalleled remixing treatment all over the blogospere, and, for some reason, especially on the dubstep scene.
