Move D
David Moufang aka Move D is from Heidelberg, Germany and has become a true pioneer of electronic music. Move D has released on labels like Warp, liebe*detail, Reflective, Freundinnen, Compost’s Black Label and of course on his own label Source. Schooled in classical percussion and with a keen talent for jazz guitar, Moufang was introduced to techno in 1989 and soon released his first record alongside Jonas Grossmann as Deep Space Network.
Over the years, alongside his own unique style of bleepy, spaced out house productions as Move D, Moufang has also collaborated with Pete Namlook and jazz people like Karl Berger, Jamie Hodge (of Born Under A Rhyming Planet) and Gunter “Ruit” Kraus.
