Richie Hawtin
Canadian producer, label boss (M_nus) & top DJ. Maybe best known as Plastikman. Although mainly influenced by Detroit techno, Hawtin has developed his own style. His first years he got notorious by introducing Devilfish (modified tb303) acid. Later he started releasing minimal & repetitive techno-dub with the Concept series. A milestone in the history of techno. A truly international DJ since 1990, Hawtin has always remained one step ahead, his flexibility and innate musical understanding, allowing him to play sets ranging from intense techno to lush deep house.

A collaboration between Istanbul-based Ali Demirel and Richie Hawtin. The track is taken from the DE9: Transitions album released in 2005 on M_nus. Ali’s idea was to use Tarkovsky’s Stalker movie and deconstruct it in a visual way as Richie would deconstruct the music to recreate the DE9 thing.
