Umek on R.fm - The Finest Blend of Club Culture
Umek

Being Slovenian, it took Umek 20 releases to get a gig outside his country and it wasn’t until his Mumps releases for Billy Nasty’s Tortured label that he really got his international break.

Although most famous for his club techno sound, Umek nowadays tries to be an all round producer because, as he explains himself, “I need new challenges and I’ve got to a stage where my tastes have changed”.

Busy 24/7 with his music and founder of the Consumer Recreation and Recycled Loops imprints.
