Van She
Van She is an Electro-pop-techno band from Sydney and currently signed to Modular People. The band began with a sound very much rooted in the 1980s, heavy on synthesizer bass sounds, although later material reflects a more textured sound. Still they very much represent a new wave of mashed up digital indie club music from the likes of Aeroplane, Bloc Party and Simian Mobile Disco. Two members from the band also remix other artists’ work as the offshoot, Van She Tech.

Brilliant Swedish music video director Andreas Nilsson, famous for his work with The Knife, Röyksopp and José Gonzales joins forces with Sydney indie outfit Van She and the track Idea of Happiness, which is the title track from Van She’s forthcoming album, out on Modular.
